MR-670F
MR 670 F is a water-removable fluorescent penetrant that provides very high sensitivity (level 0.5) for surface defects such as cracks and pores. This penetrant belongs to Type I and is used in the inspection of metals. It shows indications in yellow and yellow-fluorescent color, suitable for use under UV light. The product is made with glycol as a carrier medium and is designed for standardized NDT processes.
Key features and benefits
Very high sensitivity (0.5) according to EN ISO 3452-2: provides the ability to detect very small defects.
Water-removable (remover: water), which simplifies cleaning and reduces the need for solvents.
Yellow/yellow fluorescent indication under UV light, clear contrast in dark inspection conditions.
Carrier medium: glycol, which provides good penetration and compatibility with most metals.
Made for safe handling: store between +5°C and +45°C; best used between +10°C and +50°C.
Good standard coverage: meets EN ISO 3452-2, ASME Code V Art.6, ASTM E165, RCC-M, PMUC and several relevant specifications.
Long shelf life: approximately 3 years under appropriate storage conditions.
