The Pro-MAM Accreditation is an advanced quality assurance phantom developed for digital mammography, designed to verify that the mammography system can image clinically relevant structures such as microcalcifications, fibrous structures in ducts, and tumor-like masses. It meets the American College of Radiology (ACR) Mammography Accreditation Program and IEC 61223-3-2 standards.

Technical specifications

  • Dimensions approx. 101.5 × 108.0 × 44.0 mm for the standard version.

  • Simulates a compressed breast thickness of 42 mm with average glandular/adipose composition (50/50).

  • Contains inserts and objects such as: nylon fibrils with diameters from approximately 0.40 mm up to approximately 1.56 mm; microcalcification specks from approximately 0.16 mm and larger; tumor-like masses with diameters from approximately 0.25 mm and larger.
