Pro-MRI ACR Large

Pro-MRI ACR Large

The Pro-MRI ACR Large is an advanced quality assurance phantom from Diagnomatic, approved for American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation. It is specifically designed to measure key parameters in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems — both for calibration and daily CQ/QA.

Key features and benefits

  • Allows measurement of geometry distortion, spatial resolution, slice thickness/position, inter-slice gap, image bandwidth, low contrast detection, image uniformity, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), slice offset (physical and electronic), water/fat shift.

  • ACR approval and CE certification — ensures that the phantom meets normal accreditation requirements for MRI systems.

  • Designed for efficient daily QA, as well as for calibrating absolute value measurements.

Technical specifications

  • Outside cylinder diameter: 203 mm (8″) .

  • Outside cylinder height: 165 mm .

  • Inside cylinder diameter: 190 mm (7.5″) .

  • Inside cylinder height: 150 mm .

  • Filling: solution with 10 mmol NiCl₂ and 0.45% weight NaCl .

  • Resolution insert: three matrices with hole diameters 0.9 / 1.0 / 1.1 mm; hole spacing equal to hole diameter.

  • Low-contrast input: contrasts of approximately 1.4%, 2.5%, 3.6%, and 5.1%.

Areas of application

  • Quality assurance (QA) and accreditation of MRI equipment, especially where documentation for the ACR program is required.

  • Clinical and research environments that want repeatable results and traceability.

  • Daily inspection and maintenance programs for MRI systems to ensure image quality over time.
