Teledyne ICM CP160D
The Teledyne ICM CP160D is the lightest and most compact generator in the CP series , ideal for demanding NDT tasks. With a built-in beryllium window and high voltage capability, it delivers impressive precision for both light alloys and thicker steels. It is fully rugged, with an IP65 rating and continuous operation at normal ambient temperatures.
Key features:
Variable output voltage from 10 to 160 kV and current from 1 to 10 mA , with constant power mode of 900 W.
Penetration capacity up to 29 mm steel at standard conditions (700 mm FFD, film D2).
Capable of continuous operation at 30°C , thanks to reliable thermal management.
Low weight of 14.7 kg and compact design (Ø 140 mm × 725 mm) – very user-friendly.
Very low X-ray leakage with dose < 2.0 mSv/h at 1 m distance.
Precise optical focal spot (approx. 3 mm), and directional, elliptical beam opening (60° × 40°).
Built-in carousel with five outputs, two guard rings and IP65 waterproofing.
Working temperature resistant from –30 °C to +60 °C (storage down to –40 °C).
Low beam rate and high sports ring/signal strength provide reliable performance in the field and industry.
