Teledyne ICM CP200DS 1mm hot spot
The Teledyne ICM CP200DS is a compact and powerful portable X-ray generator designed for digital radiography (DR). With a small focusing system of only 1 mm and a weight of 15.9 kg, it delivers sharper images and an industry-leading power-to-weight ratio.
Key Features and Specifications:
Adjustable voltage: 10–200 kV, and current: 0.5–10 mA (max. 3.7 mA at full power)
Maximum anode power: 750 W in constant voltage mode
Continuous operation (100% duty cycle) at an ambient temperature of 30°C
Penetration: up to approximately 40 mm in steel
Compact design: diameter 140 mm, length 705 mm — very handy for field work
1 mm optical focus (EN 12543 standard) for maximum sharpness and detail resolution
Integrated rotor with five X-ray outputs for flexibility of use
Wear-resistant quality: robust metal-ceramic components and IP65-rated housing for use in challenging environments
Operating range: –30°C to +60°C; storage up to +70°C
Low leaking radiation dose: below 2 mSv/h at 1 meter distance
Why the 1mm focus is important:
Reduces image blur and improves image clarity, especially in short-distance digital radiography
Enables shorter exposure times and higher dose efficiency, resulting in faster workflow and better detection of small defects
Control and use:
The unit is operated via Teledyne ICM's “PowerBox” control unit with graphical displays and intuitive menus
It is plug-and-play, shockproof and provides stable operation under demanding conditions, with a wide voltage range (90–264 VAC) and the ability to operate from a car battery via simple DC/AC conversion.
