ACS A2072 IntroScan – Advanced Ultrasonic Scanner for Pipeline Inspection

The ACS A2072 IntroScan is an advanced ultrasonic scanner and flaw detection system designed for professional in-line inspection (ILI) of industrial pipelines and compressor stations. The system combines guided wave ultrasonic technology , visual inspection and intelligent scanning to identify corrosion, weld defects and material defects in pipelines without the need for coupling fluid.

The A2072 IntroScan from ACS – Acoustic Control Systems uses a phased array antenna with 32 dry point transducers (DPC) that generate guided wave ultrasound (SH waves) in the pipe wall. This allows for the inspection of long sections of the pipe system quickly and efficiently.

The system is developed for demanding industrial environments within:
